Profile and History

Sunset and Light Poles

Master Service Mid-Atlantic was established as a commercial/industrial electrical contractor in June of 1999. Although we are new as a business to the electrical field, the owners of the company have long and prestigious resumes!

Bryan Totten, Master Service President, began his career at Tri-County Electric, following his graduation from Elkins High School and Randolph County Vo-Tech, in 1982. He began as an apprentice electrician working in the field until he received his journeyman’s license in 1987. He was offered a position as an Electrical Estimator and Project Coordinator in 1987, which he accepted. On Sterl’s retirement in 1992 Bryan was promoted to office manager. In 1993 Bryan felt the need for change and accepted a position as Electrical Estimator with Mid-State Mechanical in Anmoore, WV. During the next several years he contemplated opening his own commercial business. He established Totten Enterprises, a residential electrical company, in 1997.

Pat Smith, Master Service Vice-President, began his career at blah blah blah.

Bryan and Pat have directed and successfully completed many types of electrical projects, some with values up to $5,000,000. These projects include new and renovated hospitals, schools, WVU football stadium which included television approved lighting, WVU’s 13 story Engineering and Sciences building, manufacturing and chemical plants, buried a 12,000 volt, three phase electrical line under the Ohio River from Belprey, Ohio to Blennerhasset Island, Corps of Engineers projects, and the Veterans Administration hospitals in Clarksburg and Huntington, West Virginia and Johnson City, Tennessee.

Bryan and Pat are Master Electricians and have a vast knowledge of the electrical industry both in design and installation.
